The Role

• Your responsibilities will vary based on your background and capabilities, and may include a wide range of accounting functions as well as overseeing international subsidiaries.
• Handling routine accounting duties such as issuing invoices and processing purchase orders
• Performing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings, including consolidation
• Overseeing financial operations of overseas subsidiaries, supporting accounting system rollouts, and providing financial assistance
• Managing cost control, budgeting, and payment procedures
• Compiling and analyzing cash flow reports
• Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors
• This position requires regular interaction with global offices, so English will be used frequently in day-to-day operations.

Your Skills

Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Japanese at a business level, with proven experience using both in a professional setting
• Some accounting experience, even at a basic level such as handling invoices

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications such as CPA, US CPA, Licensed Tax Accountant, or Japan Bookkeeping Certification (Level 1 or 2)
• Background in large organizations, audit firms, or consulting environments
• This role is ideal for someone who wants to apply their accounting knowledge and language skills in a globally connected workplace.
