Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage all aspects of accounting operations, including treasury, internal and external audit coordination, and monthly and annual closing for the Retail sector.

Description

* Overseeing all accounting operations, including GL, BS, and PL.
* Managing treasury functions and ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources.
* Coordinating with internal and external audits to maintain financial transparency.
* Collaborating with external tax consultants to manage and optimize tax obligations.
* Conducting monthly and annual financial closings and reporting.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Supervising and mentoring accounting department staff.
* Participating in strategic planning and decision-making at the managerial level.

Profile

A successful Accounting, Tax & Treasury Manager should have:

* Proficiency in both Japanese and English language.
* Strong knowledge in accounting operations, e.g. GL, BS, PL, and treasury management.
* Experience in coordinating with internal and external audits.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with external tax consultants.
* Track record of managing monthly and annual financial closings.
