Job Description

Architectural Technologist with Experience in Brace Wall Calculations and Knowledge of the BCBC Location Remote :

Responsibilities:

- Architectural Drafting of Single family and Multifamily projects

- Ability to take client specifications and turn them into floorplans and complete codecompliant construction drawings

- You must have extensive knowledge of the BCBC, span tables, brace wall calculations. If you do not have these capabilities, this is not the job for you.

- Create detailed 2D drawings using Revit and/or AutoCAD

- Utilize CAD software to produce construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections

- Coordinate with engineers to ensure design integrity and compliance with BC building codes if required

Skills:- Proficient in Drafting Software- Ability to interpret and create construction documents, including blueprints and specifications to the BC Building code and municipality- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills- Strong communication within a team
