Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Area Manager to lead our home care operations in the Niagara Region. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining the highest standards of care. You will oversee the delivery of nursing and support services, drive operational efficiency, and ensure we continue to exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management

  • Provide proactive leadership in managing a diverse team of nursing and care staff, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and values.

  • Cultivate a high-performing team culture, encouraging collaboration, adaptability, and professional development.

  • Lead by example in a fast-paced home care environment, fostering resilience and a client-first approach.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring the delivery of timely, personalized, and high-quality home care services.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to address the unique challenges of home care in the Niagara Region.

  • Ensure seamless coordination between teams to optimize service delivery in an ever-changing environment.

Client and Family Engagement

  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving expertise.

  • Build trust and rapport with clients and their families, ensuring their voices shape our care plans.

  • Actively engage with the community to promote Stay-at-Home Nursing and identify opportunities to better serve local needs.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to all provincial healthcare regulations and industry standards, maintaining the integrity of our services.

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives, conducting regular reviews and implementing improvements as needed.

  • Monitor client satisfaction metrics and adjust strategies to maintain superior levels of care.

Strategic Growth and Business Development

  • Identify trends and opportunities in the home care market to expand services and strengthen our presence in the area.

  • Work with marketing and business development teams to promote Stay-at-Home Nursing’s services within the community.

  • Establish partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or equivalent healthcare credential

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management, preferably in home care or community nursing

  • Proven success in leading teams within a fast-paced, client-centered environment

  • In-depth knowledge of home care operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and client care planning

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients, families, and staff

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare management software
