Job Description

KKBC is a B2B technology marketing agency, with the singular mission to maximize the value of multinational B2B Technology companies' marketing investments in APAC. Our team provides media, digital marketing, creative, experience branding, marketing, marketing research, and puiblic relations in APAC, delivering integrated marketing programs at the speed of global business, separating our clients from their competition. We service a range of B2B Technology clients, with a particular focus on multinationals headquartered in the US.

The Role

We are looking for a driven and experienced B2B Marketer to join our team. This role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies specifically tailored for the Japanese market and is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of both strategic marketing planning and hands-on campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Marketing Planning

  • Create and execute both short-term and long-term marketing strategies focused on the Japanese market, with a deep understanding of local consumer behavior, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Lead and drive customer acquisition campaigns, including nurture and conversion strategies to attract new business while deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Manage and optimize B2B lead generation campaigns to drive consistent and relevant traffic and qualified leads for our sales teams.
  • Use strong analytical skills to track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct in-depth product research and analysis to define target customers, assess competitive positioning, and evaluate campaign performance.

2. Client Handling & Project Management

  • Independently manage and oversee all client projects for the Japanese market, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and results. Serve as a trusted advisor for customers and align marketing strategies with their business objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs, update them on project progress, and handle any correspondence professionally. Ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of marketing campaigns.
  • Actively contribute to the proposal process, including strategy development, planning, and presenting marketing recommendations that align with client goals.

3. General Support

  • Continuously improve and expand our marketing services to cater specifically to the Japanese market, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance marketing efforts, and support the professional development of junior team members through mentorship.
  • Work closely with other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals and product development initiatives, contributing to overall organizational success.
  • Take ownership of product improvements and adapt strategies and services to meet the unique needs of the Japanese market.
  • Support the training of local staff, sharing knowledge and insights to enhance their professional growth and performance.

Ideal Profile

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5 years in B2B marketing, with a focus on lead generation, demand generation, and customer acquisition in the tech or digital marketing space. Experience in the Japanese market is a strong plus.
  • Strong experience in developing and executing marketing strategies across various channels (digital, content, email, social media, etc.) to drive results in the B2B space.
  • Ability to measure and analyze marketing campaigns, track KPIs, and adjust strategies based on insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in managing clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in both Japanese and English (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and the team.
  • You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
