Join our client on a long-term project in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where you’ll be part of a dedicated team working in a well-supported environment. Our client has been building vessels for over 50 years and has been at the forefront of Canadian shipbuilding for over 130 years.

This long-term and full time project is offering LOA and Travel. We are looking for a skilled Carpenterto join our clients team.

What You Will Receive:

What You’ll Do:

• Perform care and preservation work.
• Erect, dismantle, inspect, certify various installations. 
• Provide a safe work environment, maintaining “Safety First” for your team. 
• Work according to blueprints.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, steel, and other materials.
• Install windows, doors, feature walls/ceiling etc.

What You Need:

• 5+ years of related Industrial carpentry experience.
• Exceptional construction and building code knowledge.
• Must be able to lift and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to
  fifty (50lbs) pounds.
• Experience working with power tools/ Knowledge of tools and applications.
• Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask
• Certifications: Confined Space, WHMIS, and Fall Protection
• Must pass a Pre-employment security clearance/background and credit check
