The Role

You will be responsible for :

• Designing, maintaining and supporting the network infrastructure.
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability and availability.
• Recommending infrastructure solutions to meet business requirement in compliance with IT policy & procedure.
• Providing Level 2 support and troubleshooting as and when required.

Ideal Profile

• Education qualification : Engineer or Diploma or senmon gakko or any equivalent qualification
• Japanese Skills : Must speak, read and write Japanese language well
• English Lang skills : good to have but must be reading and writing skills
• Certification: Must have CISCO certification (CCNA or CCNP or CCIE) [Mandatory] / If no certification then candidate must be having more than 5+years of experience.
• Work location: Tokyo, Japan (May be need to travel to KL, Malaysia for initial 2-3 months on a business trip) and come back to Tokyo
• Working model – Initially few weeks need to go to office and then it will become hybrid ( but whenever there is a need, have to go to office
• Interview mode : there would be generally 2 rounds < one web interview and one face to face interview or web interview > but one extra round may be there ( 30-45mins max duration of interview ).
• Start date: After clearing interview, start date will be within 2 weeks

Technical skills :

• Atleast 50% matching skills should be there.
• Hands on experience on Datacenter Networking (Nexus 3000, 9300), UCS-B System/Other issues and Storage Networking.
• Hands on experience on SV (Server Virtualization), DCRS, DC Software, ACI and Storage.
• Knowledge on SWITCHING Technologies like STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP,VLAN Knowledge of Cisco switching Platforms like Cat 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850, Nexus 7K, Nexus 6k, Nexus 5k, Nexus 3K
• Experience supporting client servers (blades and rack systems)
• Strong good experience on Server/Storage
• experience providing high level technical support within a Server environment Knowledge of controllers, drivers and networking components Knowledge of fiber channel operation and protocols.
• Experience installing drivers/updating drivers Expertise on UCS-B & C series, Storage, Network or Server O/S certifications Knowledge of server OS Windows, VMware, Linux
• Experience within Ethernet and/or SAN environment
• Should have experience with network background, understanding of switching, Routing and firewall concepts.
• Experience in integration /configuration/administration and troubleshooting of LB or ADC products.
• Engineer should have strong troubleshooting skills on TCP/IP and ,SSL/TLS & DNS protocols.
• Experience in handling issue related to platforms and application management of any of the LB or ADC products.
