Location: Berks County, PA (Reading), Lock Heaven PA, WILLIAMSPORT (LYCOMING COUNTY), Dauphin County (Harrisburg), Lehigh County (Allentown), & Philadelphia County (including candidates from surrounding areas)

Job Type: Part-Time / SEASONAL Opportunities

Pay Range: $17.50 to $30.00 per hour (based on job assignment)

Overview: We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Flaggers. Flaggers play a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow around construction zones, ensuring the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Traffic Control: Direct vehicles through construction zones safely using hand signals, stop/slow paddles, and communication devices.
• Communication: Coordinate with other flaggers and construction crews via radio to manage traffic effectively.
• Site Preparation and Cleanup: Set up and remove traffic cones, signs, and barricades at construction sites as directed.
• Public Interaction: Provide clear directions and answer questions from motorists about detours or traffic changes.

Requirements:

• Flagger Certification: Valid certification required. We can certified you as a Flagger and, also the Certification can be obtained online at ATSSA.com (valid for 4 years).
• Require paying Basic Flagger equipment $91.00
• In-person Training in FLAGGER RTM OFFICE located in HAZLETON, PA
• Transportation: Must have your OWN Vehicle transportation to commute all over Pennsylvania
• Availability: Ability to work regular shifts, night shifts, weekends and on-call schedule.
• Physical Fitness: Capable of standing outdoors for 8-16 hours in various weather conditions.
• Clean Driving Record
• Language Skills: Must speak and understand English fluently.
• Lift maximum 60 lbs.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Class B or CDL License: Consideration will be given to candidates with a Class B or CDL license for certain assignments.
• Candidates with a Class B or CDL license may be eligible for additional responsibilities and higher pay rates depending on qualifications and experience.
