Position : Chief Finance Officer

Working Schedule : 8AM - 5PM CST

Salary Range : $3000 - $3500 (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

ROLE 

Our CFO, brings management-level finance expertise. The role is focused on building financial models, annual budgets, operating plans, cash flow forecasting, and providing overall financial advisory services to startups and mid-market companies. This is a support role to the CFO Advisory team and will be responsible for assisting in managing a portfolio of clients in the consumer brands sector (e-commerce, retail and CPG brands). The ideal candidate can strategize, can build financial models and budgets from scratch, strategize with Engagement Lead, and oversee all operations FP&A activities on client side (for their portfolio). The candidate will report to a CFO advisory lead and assist in client engagements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Support in the overseeing and managing of a portfolio of clients; from the creation and development of budgets to forecasting operating plans and financial models 
• Review and evaluate client KPIs established by leadership teams; build dashboards to support the client 
• Performs variance and trend analysis for departmental expenses and strategic projects 
• Ensures data accuracy in financial models, ensuring alignment and reconciliation between managerial analysis and accounting books 
• Assists in the research, analysis, and compilation of data input to create appropriate data set for business plans/cases to address corporate initiatives 
• Help with liquidity planning for companies (e.g. oversee 13 week cash forecasting for clients). 
• Prepare presentations, reporting and forecasts for senior management teams of clients and board members 
• Work closely with finance and accounting teams to support client needs 
• Support on ad-hoc reporting, projects and strategic initiatives 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 15+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis 
• Advanced forecasting and modeling skills are required 
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; fluent in English 
• Consulting and/or investment banking experience is a big plus 
• Synthesize meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data, and the ability to discuss these findings with senior management 
• Firm grasp of accounting principles and GAAP 
• Proactive and client-centric attitude 
• Experience using accounting software like QBO and NetSuite
