Based in Tokyo, you’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts that enable our continued success.Your RoleAs a Contract Specialist, you will support a wide range of agreements, including commercial contracts, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, clinical trial contracts, and drug safety/quality agreements.What You’ll Do:Draft initial contracts using company templates.Review and negotiate contracts of varying complexity with minimal supervision.Ensure contract terms comply with internal policies and SOPs.Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts during negotiations and decision-making.Lead negotiations with external customers, vendors, and third parties.Manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and updates.Maintain and develop contract templates and guidance materials.What You Bring3+ years of experience in contract management, drafting, and review in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.Strong understanding of legal documents, key contract provisions, and negotiation strategies.Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.Bachelor’s degree required.Why Join Us?Salary: Up to 10M JPY, with flexibility based on your experience.Growth opportunities: Join a dynamic legal team and gain exposure to global operations.Collaborative environment: Work closely with teams across departments and geographies.Supportive culture: Be recognized for your contributions in a company that values collaboration, accountability, and passion.Take the next step in your career—apply today.
