We’re seeking a dedicated Customer Solutions Specialist in Japan to join our team at Mentice. As a key player in our organization, you’ll directly contribute to our mission of improving healthcare!

Position Overview:

  • Role: Customer Solutions Specialist
  • Location: Tokyo, Japan.
  • Reporting to: VP & GM APAC
  • Prerequisites for application: Based in Japan with valid work permit, fluent in Japanese and with good English capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales Support:

  • Conduct product demonstrations at roadshows to win customer confidence.
  • Proactively engage with relevant customers to understand their needs and situation.
  • Initiate and support software updates for customers.

Post-Sales Support:

  • Deliver comprehensive customer trainings during system installation and provide refresher trainings as needed.
  • Assist customers who contact us for support, ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Maintain our CRM and support system with accurate customer information.
  • Act as a liaison between ongoing development projects and assigned customers.
  • Collect and relay valuable feedback to our corporate product team.

  • Analytical problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Japanese.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive matters.
  • Strong computer, presentation, and planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
  • Availability beyond standard business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Residing in Japan with a valid work visa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical, medical, computer science, or engineering fields.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service or computer support, ideally related to healthcare (radiology or cathlab).
  • Medical experience is a bonus, and familiarity with the interventional field is advantageous.
  • Background in healthcare or medtech (e.g., radiology/cathlab technician or nurse) is desirable.
