The Data Analyst will assist with data management for a project involving accelerometry signal analysis in individuals with movement disorders. The position is at SickKids and is funded by annual contract. The Data Analyst must ensure accuracy of data sent by service providers, extract data and data analysis.

Here's What You'll Get To Do

  • Coordinate the data from patients with movement abnormalities
  • Conduct procedures for data cleaning
  • Assist with data analysis and model development
  • Have knowledge in smartphone application development
  • Have experience with machine learning approaches in data analysis
  • Remain aware of the latest technological standards and apply these where possible
  • Adhere to hospital and department standards, policies, and procedures

Here's What You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree in the information technology, mathematics, statistics, engineering, health sciences or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and proficiency with the computer skills, specifically knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite and SPSS programming
  • Creative acumen and willingness to participate to improve the work flow, procedures or strategies in place
  • High precision and attention to detail, patience and ability to work with repetitive tasks
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills
  • A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives

Employment Type

  • Temporary 1 year contract with no benefits
