Mascola Group, a dynamic, full-service advertising agency based in New Haven, CT, is seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Intern (12-20 hour commitment per week).
This internship has a focus in Search Engine Marketing & Optimization, Web Design, and Digital Marketing Campaign development. It is designed for students who have a goal of pursuing an interest in digital marketing. Daily activities for this internship can include (but not necessarily be limited to) research, campaign development, search engine marketing/optimization planning and execution, as well as assisting other departments with projects on an as-needed basis. With this internship, you will gain real-world, hands-on experience in marketing/advertising at a fun yet fast-paced ad agency, including exposure to any or all of the following:
> Search Engine Marketing
> Search Engine Optimization
> Marketing Campaign Development
> Content/Creative Asset Development
> Email Marketing
Responsibilities may include:
> Assist in the development and launch of integrated online media campaigns
> SEO & SEM keyword research and analysis
> Image manipulation (basic Photoshop work)
> Research
> Blog writing
> Administrative tasks, as needed
Necessary skills:
> Ambition, determination, and motivation
> Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with a marketing, advertising, journalism, PR, communications or related emphasis
> General interest in/enthusiasm for digital marketing
> Solid writing, editing, and communications skills
> Ability to brainstorm and voice ideas/opinions
> Knowledge of Google Drive/Spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel and Word (a must)
> Basic web editing (HTML, CSS) and graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus, but not required (a big plus)
