• Pension plan: Defined benefit plan with employer matching contributions (8.4%, increasing to 10.9% for salary above $71.300).

Responsibilities:

• Communicate decisions effectively to concerned parties and respond to inquiries and complaints.

• Provide and coordinate vocational rehabilitation services, including job search support, wage subsidy negotiations, and alternative employment opportunities.

• Assess financial entitlements, applying rate-setting mechanisms as per the Workers' Compensation Act and policies.

What you will need to succeed:

• Equivalent combination of a university degree in another field and significant additional case management experience may be considered.

• 4+ years of experience managing medium to complex cases in a decision-making capacity within patient care, social services, healthcare, insurance, disability case management, or a related environment.

• Strong ability to assess, plan, implement, and monitor cases, adjusting strategies based on performance standards.

• Experience in vocational rehabilitation, including employment counseling, job development, and negotiating workplace accommodations.

• Proficiency in managing risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop logical action plans.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly across multiple channels.

• Experience in return-to-work coordination, guiding workplace parties through claims management processes.

• Understanding of medical diagnoses and treatment plans for physical and mental health conditions.
