At Oak Island Resort & Conference Centre, we have an immediate opening for a Dishwasher to support our culinary and food & beverage teams. If you are a dynamic self-starter who is able to work at a fast pace, we want you!

• Build and maintain inclusive and professional relationships with co-workers that promotes and strengthen a climate of cooperation and respect
• Collect used or soiled kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas
• Load and unload washing machines and hand wash specific items when necessary
• Sort and store clean kitchenware appropriately
• Ensure there are enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils available during peak hours
• Clean the kitchen at the end of shift, including dishwasher and floors
• Collect all soiled linens from the kitchen and bring to laundry area
• Collect all garbage/recycling from kitchen and bring to disposal areas

• Ability to communicate effectively and to work as part of a high-performing team
• Able to bend, extend arm, reach overhead, kneel and stand for long periods of time
