As an Electrician Apprentice, you'll assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under the guidance of skilled electricians, all while working towards becoming a licensed electrician.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and wiring.
- Learn to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Perform electrical maintenance and inspections.
- Support senior electricians on job sites and learn industry standards and safety regulations.
- Participate in safety training and apply best practices to all tasks.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
- Follow company procedures, including timekeeping and reporting.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (training provided).
- Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous experience in construction or a trade is a plus but not required.
