About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative professional to join our team as an Email Marketing & Social Media Specialist . The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in email marketing , with a particular focus on Klaviyo or Mailchimp, and have a proven track record in audience segmentation, automation workflows, and lead generation strategies . Additionally, candidates should have a background in graphic design and content creation, particularly for social media platforms.

This role requires a data-driven mindset , an ability to optimize conversion rates, and a deep understanding of Shopify and its third-party integrations. The specialist will be responsible for organic email list growth, engagement strategies, and social media content planning to drive customer retention and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organic email subscriber growth strategies .
• Create and manage lead generation campaigns, re-engagement series, and customer loyalty programs .
• Design and implement automated email flows and campaigns to optimize engagement and conversions.
• Develop responsive email templates to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
• Stay informed on email marketing best practices , including compliance with CASL and PIPEDA regulations .
• Conduct A/B testing to improve subject lines, email content, and send times for enhanced performance.
• Utilize data insights to refine audience segmentation and personalize communication strategies.
• Optimize email subscription models and referral programs to increase customer conversions and average order value (AOV).

Graphic Design & Content Creation

• Design and produce high-quality visual assets , including graphics, images, and videos for email marketing and social media.
• Create graphics tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook in accordance with platform-specific dimensions and requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and publish content through Meta Business Suite and TikTok .
• Develop educational content and blog articles aligned with company branding and marketing strategies.
• Edit and refine video content using Adobe Creative Suite or CapCut .

Optimization & System Integration

• Develop, customize, and enhance email templates and marketing integrations with platforms such as SmileIO, Recharge, Yotpo, and Klaviyo .
• Implement a mobile-first approach to improve email marketing performance, user experience, and email deliverability .
• Optimize subscription models and referral programs to enhance customer retention and revenue generation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO RICHMOND
• Experience with email marketing platforms : Proficiency in Klaviyo (preferred) or Mailchimp.
• Graphic design expertise : Competence in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), Canva, and similar tools .
• Data analytics proficiency : Experience utilizing Google Analytics 4 and other reporting tools.
• Technical expertise in email marketing : Familiarity with template-based email design, workflow automation, trigger-based campaigns, and dynamic content creation .
• Social media graphic design : Ability to create custom graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook that align with platform specifications.
• A/B testing and performance analysis : Strong analytical skills to optimize open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and overall campaign effectiveness .
• Video editing capabilities : Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar software .
• Strong communication and collaboration skills .
• Exceptional attention to detail .
• Fluency in English .

Compensation & Benefits

• Sign-on bonus up to maximum $1,000 , subject to meeting sales targets at the end of the probation period.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 per hour
