Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Act as lead analyst for Epic PB projects, providing guidance on system design, workflow optimization, and best practices.
Drive collaboration with clinical, financial, and operational leaders to understand business needs and align Epic PB capabilities to strategic objectives.
Lead the analysis, design, build, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Epic PB applications, including charge capture, claims, coding workflows, and reimbursement configuration.
Oversee configuration management and ensure system integrity across environments.
Mentor and support junior Epic analysts, providing peer review, training, and knowledge-sharing.
Coordinate with technical teams and external vendors on Epic upgrades, release notes, and new functionality implementation.
Provide senior-level escalation support, troubleshooting complex billing and technical issues.
Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations on project status, performance metrics, and optimization outcomes.
Ensure Epic PB configurations comply with payer requirements, billing regulations, and organizational policies.

Required Qualifications
Epic Professional Billing Certification (must be current or within recertification period).
Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on Epic PB analyst experience, including build and workflow optimization.
Deep knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, billing regulations, and payer reimbursement methodologies.
Demonstrated success leading Epic PB-related projects or optimization efforts.
Strong project management, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to influence decision-making across clinical, financial, and IT departments.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Epic certification in related modules such as Resolute Hospital Billing, Cadence, Tapestry, or HIM.
Experience with Epic system upgrades, implementation cycles, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with Epic reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench).
Prior experience mentoring or managing analysts within a large health system or Epic-certified consulting firm.
