We are a thriving and expanding law firm in search of a seasoned attorney to join our growing Trust and Estates group. This presents an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about estate planning, trust and estate administration, and tax planning to make significant contributions within a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

* Drafting sophisticated estate planning documents.
* Researching federal and state tax issues.
* Working directly with partners and clients.
* Providing expertise in estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.
* Ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations related to estate and business planning.
* Leading and managing legal professionals within the team.
* Building and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications:

* Active, in-good-standing license to practice law in the state.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in Estate (High Net Worth), Probate & Trust Administration and business planning.
* Additional degree or certification (LLM in Taxation, MBA, CFP, CPWA) is a bonus.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Strong knowledge of California state laws and regulations related to estate and business planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency across financial planning disciplines.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining team cohesion.
