Our client is a large organization where they operate, invest and develop best in class real estate looking to hire a ETL – Data Engineer
About the Opportunity
The first quarter they will be focused on designing and developing data pipelines to ingest, store and transform data from various data sources
They have 7 to 8 finance team and a marketing team and they receive lots of raw data from these team
This person is focused on creating ETL pipeline, designing/developing data warehouse so this data could be used for creating major dashboard reports using Tableau.
Going forward this person will be focused on ETL development, processes, the business is not yet matured so this team is driving the business and this is a great opportunity for some one who enjoys working with senior stakeholders.
Once the datapipeline is created, the next big project is implementation of data governance, standard and policies and analytics
They also get out of cycle projects where business would provide them an adhoc data project which they would try to bring inhouse.
About You
Informatica hands on development experience
Strong ETL development and strong data warehouse design/development experience.
Good experience with AWS mainly S3 buckets
Experience with Shell scripting and/or Python
Strong communication skills as they will be dealing directly with the business stakeholders / vendors
Bonus Items:

Real time streaming
Degree – Software engineering
Does not want to see: poor communication, people are unable to answer basic questions as they have poor foundation with data engineering/management
Working hours / shifts / OT expected: 9am to 5pm
