About the Role: The Evaluation and Data Analyst works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement evaluation activities for continuous clinical and organizational quality improvement. This role offers a hybrid arrangement between work-from-home and CASA’s downtown office.
The Evaluation and Data Analyst will:
- Develop and implement program-specific logic models and evaluation frameworks in collaboration with clinical leadership and clinical teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of an organization-wide evaluation framework.
- Apply appropriate use of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and approaches to evaluation (e.g., evaluation design, measure selection/development, data collection, data analysis).
- Identify, monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets at the clinical program and organizational level.
- Collect, enter and clean data for analysis.
- Work with spreadsheets and databases, including using programming languages such as R to extract and integrate data from multiple sources and automate processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity.
- Respond to data and reporting requests as needed.
- Translate healthcare data into insights and recommendations.
- Prepare internal and external reports for various stakeholders including funders and community partners, and CASA’s Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Team and clinical leadership.
- Prepare a variety of communication and knowledge translation materials such as reports, infographics and presentations.
Qualifications - Master’s degree or PhD in a health-related field, such as epidemiology, program evaluation, public health, health sciences, medicine or psychology.
- Experience developing evaluation plans and/or frameworks, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Experience applying research and evaluation methods.
- Experience analyzing qualitative and/or quantitative data
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in a minimum of one statistical programming language such as R, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Python or SQL.
- Knowledge of data quality management practices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Class 5 driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle.
