Food Truck Coordinator Location Kitchener, ON N2M 1P1 :

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Truck Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and calendar bookings of our food truck. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in restaurant management. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of food truck operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Train and mentor staff in food handling procedures, customer service techniques, and POS system operation.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate schedules for staff and manage daily cash flow and financial transactions.
• Develop menus in collaboration with chefs or kitchen staff to ensure offerings meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
• Promote the food truck at events, festivals, or local markets to increase visibility and sales.

Qualifications

• G Class License with clean driving record
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant management is required.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
