General Laborer

Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Loop Recycled Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Triumvirate Environmental, one of North America's largest environmental services firms, is looking for a General Laborer to join our facility in Niagara Falls.

In this role, you will efficiently load and unload materials, handle and organize them safely, and assist with facility maintenance. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, work collaboratively with team members, and consistently demonstrate reliability as a team player.

This onsite role reports directly to the Afternoon Shift Supervisor and the working shift is 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Basic cleaning and paint removal in critical areas
• Unpacking paint cans from boxes, skids, and drums
• Feeding and loading automatic can opener
• Sorting cans based on color and type by reading proper labels
• Moving skids and boxes using a pallet- jack
• Lifting paint pails up to 45 pounds
• Emptying scrap metal bins
• Scraping paint into respective tote and feeding automatic scrapers
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Work cooperatively with other staff to complete tasks efficiently
• WOW! internal and external customers

Basic Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team
• Basic knowledge of or desire to learn hazardous waste industry and/or the transportation of Dangerous Goods Act
• Aptitude for critical thinking as it applies to health and safety in a chemical production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position
