Head of Finance role to lead one BU under the group company and lead a team to ensure compliance and timely reporting. | WFH and flex time available, work with the global team

Description

* Oversees a team of finance professionals and provides guidance on technical accounting matters.
* Manages financial reporting, including internal and external reports, forecasts, and annual budgets.
* Coordinates with tax advisors and finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance with global tax rules.
* Handles treasury activities such as cash flow forecasting, currency management, and maintaining financial stability.
* Ensures financial processes and controls are followed, and supports audit activities.
* Contributes to various improvement projects, including system upgrades and regulatory changes.

Profile

* Has at least 5 years of accounting experience in a listed company in Japan, with hands-on involvement in key finance operations.
* Possesses strong English skills, as it is the primary working language in the organization.
* Boki 1 or USCPA/JCPA is highly preferred.
* Enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment and is eager to improve financial processes through new technologies.
* Takes ownership, communicates well in both Japanese and English, works respectfully under pressure, and is motivated to grow into more senior role
