Overview
A high-growth fintech platform operating in capital markets is looking for a
Director of Client Integration to lead and scale its global integration function. This individual will own the client integration lifecycle—from pre-sales advisory through technical onboarding—across a distributed team spanning North America, EMEA, and APAC.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic team builder and a relationship-first problem solver, fluent in capital markets technology and passionate about scalable, repeatable processes. This is a senior, high-impact role with visibility across leadership and revenue-generating functions.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and grow a globally distributed team (NY, London, Singapore) responsible for client onboarding and platform integration
- Act as a key revenue bridge between Sales, Product, and Client Success, ensuring smooth and scalable client experiences
- Oversee integration with trading systems (Repo, Fixed Income), OMS, central clearing, and custodian infrastructures
- Own vendor relationships with key players across front-to-back office systems (e.g., CRD, Aladdin, TradeWeb, FIS, Itiviti)
- Drive process standardization using platforms like Zendesk, and improve how integrations are tracked, reported, and delivered
- Manage technical integrations, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity (SSO/SSL, VPN, FIX, API)
- Represent integration strategy at a senior level—internally and externally—while delegating project-level tasks to SMEs
- Be accountable to both executive leadership and cross-functional partners for the success of the integration function
- Promote a culture of documentation, automation, and accountability
Ideal Profile - 7–12+ years of experience in client integration, technical onboarding, or implementation in capital markets (fixed income preferred)
- Experience leading global integration teams with a focus on financial services or fintech
- Familiar with the vendor and post-trade ecosystem: OMS, EMS, CCPs, custodians, market utilities
- Excellent communicator who can represent the team with clients and vendors and interface directly with executive-level stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of connectivity and integration protocols: FIX, XML/JSON, APIs, SFTP, SWIFT, VPN, etc.
- Process-driven, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to team building and scale
Preferred Backgrounds - Integration or client-facing leads at FinTech's, trading platforms, or financial data vendors
- Capital markets experience, ideally across repo, fixed income, or securities finance
- Prior experience with platforms like CRD, Aladdin, NYFIX, Itiviti, Broadridge, or TradeWeb
- Experience implementing third-party vendor integrations with OMS/EMS platforms
