**Role Summary:**Lead the analysis, adaptation, creation, and dissemination of top-tier Health Economic and Outcome Research (HEOR) to achieve optimal reimbursement and pricing for the company’s products and/or to enhance their labeling. This role operates within an evolving system that increasingly integrates Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and HEOR insights, supported by the development and application of clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence that demonstrates the value of the company’s products.**Position Purpose:**The purpose of this role is to secure ideal reimbursement and pricing status, as well as product uptake for the company’s products, by developing innovative HTA/HEOR strategies and leveraging clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence to showcase the value of the company’s offerings. This includes engaging with external stakeholders such as payers and key opinion leaders (KOLs).**Responsibilities:**- Lead or support the interpretation, generation, and dissemination of HEOR data for internal and external customers, demonstrating the value of the company’s products in relation to emerging HTA processes, and facilitate technical discussions with payers/decision-makers regarding the company’s portfolio.- Proactively research and stay informed on a wide range of HTA/HEOR models and closely monitor the latest HTA developments and intelligence in Japan to ensure optimal HTA submission for the company’s designated products.- Actively participate in industry discussions through trade associations and engage with government officials and Diet members for advocacy efforts to promote a pro-innovation HTA system in Japan.- Lead the customization of global and/or development of local HTA/HEOR materials, models, and data, utilizing all available research (clinical studies, observational studies, literature, etc.) for HTA dossiers.- Identify evidence needs for product/indication in pricing strategy throughout the product life cycle, create and adapt value propositions as necessary, and ensure supporting data is available.- Collaborate with cross-functional team members in the development and execution of market access plans, as well as medical and marketing activities.- Ensure compliance with corporate goals, policies, procedures, and relevant legislation at all times.
