About us:
University Family Housing is comprised of two 21 story residential towers and a unique stock of 83-century homes. The department provides housing to student families, faculty families and long-term residentialtenancies in two neighbourhoods on the St. George Campus to over 3000 adults and children, and provides on-site property management services, as well as educational and recreational programming for tenant families. Your opportunity: Under the direction of the Residence Administrator, the Housing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Administrator in maintaining a positive quality of student life in the University Family Housing Residence. The primary responsibilities are to provide front-line customer service and to facilitate an open and easy flow of communication between all staff and contractors working at the residence. The Housing Assistant communicates with various departments and serviceproviders on campus, such as Admissions & Eligibility, Campus Safety, Facilities & Services and Ancillary Services. The Assistant is responsible for apprising the Residence Administrator, Director of Residence and/or Operations Manager of any residence issues that may become a problem as well as deals with day-to-day issues as part of the overall function of the position Your responsibilities will include:
