Piroshky Baking company is seeking a contractual HR assistant. There is a strong possibility that a permanent position will be offered after 6 months.

This position is located in downtown Seattle.

The HR Assistant will support management-level staff, collecting and managing sensitive employee data, including assisting with recruiting, hiring and review of all new employees.

Job Duties Include:

· Process new hire packets, auditing for completion of all required documents, creating personnel file and storing appropriately.

· Assisting with updating of company policies, forms, and any other personnel related materials (i.e. labor law posters, insurance packets, etc.)

· Creating, maintaining, and updating tracking documents or software to track employee information such as anniversary dates, birthdays, benefits eligibility, etc.

· Creating and posting job advertisements in-line with company needs and in accordance with company standards.

· Managing all recruitment platforms, contacting eligible candidates, arranging initial interviews, and tracking progress.

· Assisting with communication to employees of policy updates, memos, and other information.

· Meeting with upper management regularly to assess business needs

· Completing orientations as necessary or requested

· Collecting enrollment packets for all employee benefits programs based on eligibility

· Tracking employee review process, updating procedures as necessary.

· Regular and thorough audit of all personnel files.

· Appropriate filing and cycling of all personnel documents in accordance with local and federal laws.

· Other various duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Legally authorized to work in the US per E-verify guidelines

· Must be 18 years or older

· Ability to work a flexible work schedule including holidays as needed.

· 1 year office/customer service experience required

· 1 year HR experience required

· Willingness to learn

· Proficiency in MS Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)

· Previous experience with both Mac and PC preferred

· Ability to type 40+WPM

Starting Wage: 21.00/hourShifts primarily M-F ( 4-5 days a week)
