• Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries. Support and coordinate administrative processes related to onboarding, resignations, leave of absence, internal transfers, and probationary evaluations. Facilitate New Employee Orientations (NEOs), employee information sessions, Global Engagement Surveys (GES), and long-service award programs as needed.• Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Administration: Manage various aspects of C&B programs, including merit increases, bonuses, defined contribution pensions, retirement benefits, life insurance, and company housing-related matters.• Payroll and Tax Support: Oversee paid time off (PTO) tracking, salary calculations, distribution of salary and bonus notification letters, and coordinate with relevant teams for tax processing.• Employee Representative Meeting Management: Organize and facilitate employee representative meetings, provide necessary information, and support the selection process for employee representatives.• Global Collaboration: Work with global HR teams to implement company-wide initiatives locally, escalate Japan-specific needs, and actively participate in regional and global meetings.• Government Relations: Handle all statutory requirements such as social insurance procedures, issuance of official documents and certificates, and management of the My Number system.• HR Systems and Vendor Management: Maintain HR information systems, shared folders, and manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers.• Work Rules Compliance: Lead the planning, revision, and submission of work rules and related policies to the Labor Standards Bureau. Ensure timely updates and compliance with legal requirements.• Health & Safety Management: Oversee workplace accident response, annual health checkup administration, and operation of the Health & Safety Committee. Act as the designated Health Manager, appoint health promoters, liaise with industrial physicians, conduct workplace inspections, and manage labor-related notifications and stress checks. Support company ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) initiatives.• Reporting and Certification: Prepare and submit required reports and certifications to headquarters, government agencies, and other stakeholders as needed.
