Are you an experienced Painterlooking for your next big opportunity? Join our client on a long-term project in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where you’ll be part of a dedicated team working in a well-supported environment. Our client has been building vessels for over 50 years and has been at the forefront of Canadian shipbuilding for over 130 years.
We are looking for a skilled Painterto join our clients team.

What You Will Receive:

• Competitive Wage - $35 / hour
• Monday to Friday schedule

What You’ll Do:

• Work with different types of materials or products such as general metal products, construction materials or coatings to paint ships
• Moving ladders, paint cans, and other painting equipment 
• Finding ways to reduce the costs of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards, codes, and project specifications
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time

What You Need:

• Industrial painting experience 
• Access to pot/brush
• Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask
• Certifications: Confined Space, WHMIS, and Fall Protection
• Must pass a Pre-employment security clearance/background and credit check
