The Department of Financial Protection and Innovation is recruiting for one permanent, full-time Information Technology Specialist II position in the Information Technology Division. Position may be located in the Sacramento, or San Francisco office.This recruitment may be used to fill subsequent vacancies of these positions in DFPI within the next 180 days.
Under general direction from the Information Technology Manager II, the Information Technology Specialist II serves as the department’s Enterprise Architect.
The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring that the Information Technology Services Division’s (ITSD) IT strategy aligns with the business 0bjectives of the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI).
The IT Enterprise Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining the architecture of the organization's IT systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and providing strategic guidance for technology investments. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, establishing standards and governance, and optimizing technology resources to drive efficiency and innovation.
