• The Bitcoin Portal: Our innovation hub, the Bitcoin Portal, revolutionizes how Canadians buy, sell, and utilize Bitcoin. You can now leverage Interac e-Transfer to buy bitcoin, use your bitcoin to pay bills, and purchase gift cards securely and swiftly. Our Bitcoin Portal is a high-growth division, designed to scale and offer the fastest and safest way to enter the world of Bitcoin. Notably, we've expanded our horizons and recently launched limited services in the United States.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Marketing Intern to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in our marketing efforts, with a focus on community building, creative content creation, and driving brand awareness. If you are passionate about bitcoin, possess a flair for marketing, and are eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Social Media Management: Develop and curate engaging content for our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). Foster community engagement, respond to comments, and identify opportunities to grow our online presence.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies, keyword research, and on-page optimization to enhance our online visibility.
• Writing Newsletters: Craft compelling and informative newsletters to keep our community informed about the latest bitcoin trends, company updates, and industry news.
• Creating Ad Campaigns: Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, plan, and execute targeted ad campaigns across various platforms. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics.
• Community Building: Implement strategies to foster a sense of community among our customers. Plan and organize virtual or in-person events, webinars, or initiatives that bring our community together.

Requirements:

• Passion for and knowledge of bitcoin.
• A minimum of a 1st-year completion in a post-secondary Marketing program.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.
• Strong social media acumen and experience managing social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of ad campaign creation and analytics.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the marketing field.

Additional Skills (a plus, but not mandatory):

• Graphic design skills for creating visually appealing content.
• Experience with email marketing platforms.
• Basic knowledge of data analytics tools.

Job Type: Internship / Co-op

Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
