Job Summary: Provides technical nursing care through treatment and education of patients in accordance with Registered Nurse and physicians’ treatment plan. **Must train to be responsible for working all areas of the Maternal/Child Department such as Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, Post-Partum, Nursery, Pediatrics and GYN surgeries.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Completion of accredited LPN program of 13 to 24 months.
Experience: None required, new grads welcome.
Licenses, Certification, And/or registrations: Current Licensed Practical Nurse license or temporary LPN License with ABON. BLS within 90 days of hire.
Equipment, tools,word aids: Office machines, computer terminals, patient therapeutic equipment and pyxis machine.
Specialized knowledge and skills: Knowledge of appropriate patient population, growth and development.
Hours: “PRN” as needed, hours will vary
