Job Title : Network Security Engineer

Location : Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security appliances.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and vulnerabilities.
• Perform security risk assessments and penetration testing.
• Implement zero-trust security models and access controls.
• Respond to security incidents, breaches, and forensic investigations.
• Work with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
• Document security procedures, policies, and incident reports.
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience in network security, firewall management, and threat detection.
• Strong expertise in firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
• Experience with VPNs, endpoint security, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Proficiency in penetration testing and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
