Harmonique Fibre Arts Supply Inc. is the Canadian wholesale distributor for Ashford Handicrafts of New Zealand, manufacturers of world-famous spinning wheels, weaving looms, and other fibre arts related products. Since 2006, Harmonique has been committed to providing quality Ashford products and exceptional customer service to its over 200 retailers and production artists across Canada.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Operations Associate, you’ll be central to the day-to-day functioning of the business. This position is responsible for key operational tasks such as daily order fulfillment, customer support, inventory management, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ensures daily orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped using a cloud-based order management system and shipping platform.
• Responds to all customer inquiries including product information, availability and order status.
• Resolves any order issues, product problems and returns.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels using inventory management software and spreadsheets.
• Places purchase orders with suppliers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manages shipping logistics with suppliers & freight carriers
• Manages the business’s WordPress website and WooCommerce store, ensuring customers have a smooth and up-to-date ordering experience.
• Assists in improving and streamlining operational workflows within the company.
• Helps create and implement all sales and marketing strategies.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills and a friendly, solutions-focused approach.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• 5 years’ experience in a wholesale distribution and e-commerce business.
• Post-secondary education, or relevant experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. French language skills are an asset.
• High attention to detail and excellent time management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory/order management software. Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a strong asset.
• Interest or familiarity with fibre arts are a bonus!
• Ability to lift and handle items up to 30kg on occasion
