Roska DBO Inc. is currently recruiting for a
Parts & Equipment Runner to join our team in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Parts & Equipment Runner plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, parts, and equipment between suppliers, service providers, and Roska’s operational sites. This hands-on, fast-paced position supports daily operations by managing pickups, deliveries, and inventory, while working closely with Procurement and Warehousing to meet company needs.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, safety-conscious, and physically capable, with a strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage the pickup and delivery of parts, materials, and equipment from suppliers and service providers.
- Validate and receive materials, ensuring alignment with purchase requests and orders.
- Assist with staging, shipping, and receiving of equipment and materials.
- Load and secure items for safe transport using appropriate tools and methods.
- Accurately complete manifests and maintain delivery records.
- Support warehouse operations and collaborate with Procurement and Warehousing departments.
- Assist with general cleanup and light yard maintenance tasks.
- Operate equipment (e.g., skid steer, telehandler) as required for loading/unloading.
REQUIREMENTS: - Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test.
- Previous experience in material handling, delivery driving, or logistics is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Familiarity with Roska HSE policies, equipment handling, and loading/unloading procedures is an asset.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work outdoors in variable conditions.
- Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, or loaders is an asset.
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
