One Mission. One California ( **Responsibilities** Are you a passionate and skilled **Physical Therapist Assistant** looking for a rewarding career opportunity? Northridge Hospital Medical Center is committed to helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life. We're currently seeking a motivated **Physical Therapist Assistant** to join our team! + Implement treatment plans as prescribed by the Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, gait training, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold therapy). + Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding any changes in condition or response to treatment. + Accurately document patient care activities in accordance with clinic policies and procedures. + Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies. + Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment. + Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. + Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the clinic. **Qualifications** + A minimum of 2 yrs. experience as a practicing PTA, including demonstrated teaching responsibilities and evidence of continued education required. + A graduate of an approved school for Physical Therapist Assistants or equivalent by the licensing board is required. + The academic curriculum will include coursework on growth and development, gerontology, and therapeutic procedures for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. + New grads welcome. + Current State of California Physical Therapist Assistant licensure required. (LIC PTA) + Current AHA BLS + Fire Safety cards required (obtain 90 days from start date). **This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.** **Pay Range** $36.16 - $45.08 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
