Job Description

We are looking for PIPE WELDER to up fit the product piping on Emergency Response Vehicles/Fire Trucks. Applicants are to have experience in fitting and welding stainless steel pipes and Aluminum pipes with TIG and MIG

Duties and Responsibilities:

The following reflect the essential functions for this position but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned based upon changing business conditions.

• Weld pipes as needed to complete installation
• Effective use of conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Perform process inspection to assure quality welds
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment
• Install heat exchanger not already installed with value
• Install master drain, primer control, pump shift, discharges, R&L rear and front bumper; bleeder and auto drains
• Connect lines to gauge panel
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Good attention to details
• Punctual
• Ability to demonstrate, creative, problem solving skills
• Excellent measuring tape skills
• Knowledge, experience and possession of small tools hand tools such as wrenches and impact drivers
• TO BE A GOOD WELDER IN TIG AND MIG - welding test to be performed during interview
• Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed

Monday to Friday 7am-4pm ***AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE POSITION***
