[ Your Mission ]

Production Designer

As a Production Designer, your mission is to support and enhance Bokksu's creative vision by translating established design concepts into polished, production-ready assets. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the brand's aesthetic and functional coherence across all physical and digital touchpoints. By creating compelling visual content, you will ensure a consistent and seamless brand experience that resonates with our audience worldwide.

This role requires working at least 3 days a week from our Tokyo office in the Shinjuku neighborhood.

[ Your Responsibilities ]

  • Design Execution: Extend and translate creative concepts into high-quality production-ready assets for print, web, and digital formats, ensuring alignment with Bokksu's brand standards.
  • Collaborative Workflow: Work closely with the creative, marketing, and brand management teams to produce cohesive designs that effectively communicate our marketing initiatives and brand messages.
  • Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple design projects simultaneously, maintaining consistency and precision in every output.
  • Design Systems: Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems that streamline production and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Quality Control: Apply expert knowledge in color theory and design principles to create visually appealing and technically sound designs.
  • Creative Solutions: Offer creative solutions that enhance visual communication and effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Industry Trends – Stay updated with the latest trends in design and marketing to keep Bokksu at the forefront of the industry.

[ Your Qualifications ]

  • Experience: Proven experience in production design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating integrated visual content for digital media.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Design Expertise: Strong understanding of color theory, design principles, and visual aesthetics. Experience in developing and implementing design systems is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach to design and production.
  • Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Agile and responsive to evolving creative briefs and business objectives.
  • Cultural Fit: Passion for Japanese culture and snacks and a collaborative spirit to work closely with our tight-knit team.
