As our organization continues to grow, we are hiring for the role of Project Manager to join our team of IT professionals inSaint John, New Brunswick. Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, you'll have plenty of opportunity to show off your experience in IT Project Management, bring your leadership skills to the table and of course, provide exceptional value to the company, and accelerate growth.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will lead IT projects from inception to delivery, ensuring they meet business objectives while staying within scope, schedule, and budget. This is a great opportunity to contribute to transformative initiatives and grow your expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage, and deliver medium to large-scale IT projects using best practices and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior management to develop strategic plans, define project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain key project documents, including charters, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve risks and issues, ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Mentor and support project team members, fostering a collaborative and effective working environment.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT project management with a strong understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • PMP certification or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.
