The Role

• Lead and manage key mission-critical projects in collaboration with our client's major external partners and clients, focusing on driving new product launches, transformation and system enhancements within their consumer payment operations.
• Serve as the main liaison across client stakeholders, internal product teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee implementation of new technology products, including coordinating system updates and managing technical project timelines, issues, and risks.
• Support development of proposals and workplans, defining project scope, deliverables, and stakeholder responsibilities.
• Analyze client data, conduct interviews, and deliver insightful recommendations through impactful presentations.
• Collaborate across global and regional teams to access technical expertise and provide holistic client solutions.

Your Skills

• 5-7 years of experience in an IT consulting, project management, BA/PMO role or mix
• Project management: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from planning to execution. PMP or equivalent experience is a plus.
• Prior exposure to consumer payments, cards, consumer banking, or other B2C fintech
• Fluency in Japanese (must) and business-level English
• Experience interfacing with external stakeholders and presenting effectively.
• Ability to interpret system requirements, assess impact of tech updates, and communicate effectively with IT and business teams.
• Able to work across teams and stakeholders in a matrixed, often global, organization.
