Job Description

We are seeking highly qualified and passionate part-time faculty members to join our School of Business and Management team. Successful candidates will be responsible for contributing to the academic development of our new Project Management program. Ideal candidates will possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, a related Master's degree, and have significant experience in the field of project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development / sourcing of content for project management courses.
• Utilize knowledge of various teaching methods to accommodate the development of materials for different learning styles and for the promotion of active learning.
• Create / source student evaluations based on the principles of authentic assessment.
• Participate in the development and launch of the Project Management program.

Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in project management.
• Prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset.
• Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methods of Project Management.
• Experience developing online/hybrid courses for both synchronous and asynchronous student audiences.
• Familiarity teaching and course development within Brightspace (D2L).
• Experience sourcing and implementing project management simulation applications, designing and building applied projects, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current in the field of project management.
