Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada (Onsite) 
Starting Salary: $17.30/hour for Part TimeBranch: Airports North America Category: Unionized (IAMAW)Job type: Part-time Plus shift premiums: Afternoon - $0.50 for each hour worked between 18:00 and 23:00. Midnight - $1.00 for each hour worked between 23:00 and 6:00. 

No previous experience required. What will you do today?  Imagine starting your day on the runway refueling a plane, refilling the water supply, loading cargo or pushing back an Airbus. Imagine the rush of loading luggage for a connecting flight on a tight turnaround. Our team of Station Attendants keeps Air Canada moving, making sure our aircrafts are ready for a safe, secure and on-time departure.  What will you find with us?

Qualifications

Job requirements  

At our workplace, teamwork is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our fleet. This physically demanding role involves active movement both on the airside and in the baggage room. Since our operations run year-round, you must be ready to work in all weather conditions. 

To join us, you must have:  

• Eligibility to work in Canada  
• A valid driver’s license – driving heavy equipment on the airside will be required 
• Ability to lift 70lbs repetitively 
• To pass a medical evaluation, including a drug and alcohol test  
• Availability to attend and successfully pass a five (5) to seven (7) weeks full-time paid training program      
• Availability to work rotating shift patterns over a 24-hour period (including weekends and holidays)     
• Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations. Please refer to Transport Canada site for more details 
• Safety and security conscious 
• Strong communication and ability to work in a team on a daily basis
