Position Overview: As a Research Associate in In Vivo & Translational Biology, you will play a vital role in advancing our preclinical research programs. Working at the intersection of laboratory science and therapeutic innovation, you will design and conduct in vivo studies using rodent models to evaluate the efficacy and safety of our novel drug candidates. You will be responsible for animal handling, dosing, sample collection, and data analysis, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive projects forward. Key Responsibilities - Design, execute, and analyze in vivo studies using rodent models to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetics of novel therapeutic candidates.
- Perform dosing, sample collection, and monitoring of animal health and welfare in compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and process biological samples (e.g., blood, tissues) for downstream analysis, including biomarker and pharmacodynamic assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan experiments, interpret data, and troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records, ensuring data integrity and adherence to GLP standards.
- Assist in the development and optimization of new in vivo models and laboratory protocols.
- Prepare and present study results to project teams and contribute to scientific reports, publications, and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Pharmacology, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with in vivo research, including animal handling, dosing, and sample collection.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques such as ELISA, PCR, and histology is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of animal care guidelines and ethical research practices.
