Job Type Unclassified - Judicial Department D800 Superior Court About the Position As the Senior Content Creator, you will support the mission of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County by planning, developing, and implementing professional-level communications initiatives using a variety of media and materials. This position is responsible for collaboratively developing the visual brand of the Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County from graphic design to video editing, with the goal of ensuring the organization has cohesive branding and visually captivating messaging. The Senior Content Creator is someone who is willing to learn new tools and complex court and probation information, can maintain professionalism in stressful, complex and varied situations and produce time-sensitive messages.   • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Video Production or a related field
Experience:
  • Four years of related experience in public relations, videography, graphic design, communications, journalism, or another closely related field.
OR Combined Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis
Other Requirements:
  • Must possess, or obtain a valid Arizona driver's license, by the time of hire
Our Preferred Candidate Has:
  • Four years of experience in communications and/or marketing or a related field Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign)

Essential Job Tasks (This is not an all-inclusive list of all job duties that may be required; employees will be required to perform other related duties as assigned.)
  • Under limited supervision, provides strategic brand administration across the Branch that aligns with both short- and long-term organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Initiates ideation, storytelling, development and execution of brand and content strategies across the organization, for multiple communication channels including social media, digital, and other channels as identified.
  • Independently collaborates with Branch leadership, judicial officers, and subject matter experts to understand and integrate customer and program strategies in brand and content plans.
  • Develops message calendars for multiple communication channels. Collaborates to design, write, and produce content for all communication channels
  • Evaluates and reviews qualitative and quantitative media analytics and develops reports to strategize and identify opportunities for optimization, and makes recommendations based on findings
  • Creates graphics and videos for use on multiple platforms and for diverse audiences
  • Produces video projects from concept to completion
  • Designs graphics, creates brochures and other materials while maintaining a cohesive brand
  • Supports visual presentation of information on the SharePoint sites
  • Interprets complex and sensitive information and coherently communicates to varied audiences
  • Accesses, coordinates, and responds to confidential and pre-decisional information as part of communication planning and execution efforts
  • Attends public events to capture images and information, during and outside of standard work hours
  • Independently manages platforms/tools for communication (social media, etc.)
  • Takes a leadership role among peers in designing and executing new media communication strategies
  • Manages message alignment on communication platforms of assigned responsibility
  • Has responsibility for "enterprising" stories, video content and other content (podcasts, etc.)
  • Performs a key role in managing implementation of style standards/expectations for the Branch
  • Writes material and content using proper grammar and Associated Press Style
  • Assists internal and external stakeholders with other special projects related to communications as assigned

The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12.27% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5.84% and up for the defined contribution plan and 8.82% for the defined benefit plan.
