Job Description

Role responsibilities

Solutioning activities:

  • Support sales members in finalizing requirements with the customer or customer’s customer

  • Work with our offshore delivery team and explain proposed solutions to the customer

  • Validate pricing with sales and provide suggestions

  • Act as the primary solution owner for the customer or partner

  • Prepare presentations and documentation in consultation with the offshore team

  • Act as the technical bridge between offshore and customer

  • Generate additional business from existing customers

Project / program management includes the following responsibilities:

  • Project planning

  • Documentation

  • Scheduling

  • Presentation

  • Team management

  • Organize and host meetings

  • MoM and action list

  • Stakeholder engagement

  • Resolve conflicts

  • Track progress

  • Reporting

Key skills required

For data center:

  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure in data centers (e.g., server, storage, middleware, cloud – not network specific)

  • Experience in leading datacenter implementation and operations teams

  • Datacenter project management

  • Understanding of managing both on-premises and cloud data centers

  • Cloud migration experience is an advantage

  • Experience managing global datacenter engagements

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills

  • Experience managing large datacenter operations transitions

  • Ability to estimate effort for large datacenter programs

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes

  • Experience managing large datacenter operations and implementation teams

For DWP (Digital Workplace):

  • Understanding of DWP technologies like PC, Active Directory, Exchange, Citrix, etc.

  • Experience managing large end user computing (EUC) programs

  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management, DaaS, etc.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes

  • Experience with user experience management tools like Nexthink, 1E, or other DEX tools is an advantage

  • Understanding of patch management activities

  • Experience managing Service Desk and EUC transitions

  • Experience managing large EUC operations teams

Basic pre-requisites:

  • Bilingual (fluent in both English and Japanese)

  • Offshore or multi-location delivery experience

  • Business development or solutioning experience is a plus
