Pluto is founded by alumni from Shopify, Square, Cash App, Uber and Y Combinator and backed by top-tier investors such as Global Founders Capital, Soma Capital, Graph Ventures, and some of the best B2B fintech founders and operators from Ramp, Airbase, Plaid, Cash App and more.

Pluto’s nimble engineering team comprises of folks from some of the best technology and fintech companies in the world including Google, Paypal, Square, Uber, Shopify, Digital Ocean and more. We are solving complex problems in the B2B fintech domain and are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Pluto. The ideal candidate should have a passion for solving challenging problems, building high-quality software solutions and possess a strong technical background in React, Typescript, and GraphQL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Bring a strong product and design mindset while developing solutions
• Write and maintain clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Continuously improve the software development process and practices
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their growth and development

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Expert-level proficiency in React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
• Experience with modern front-end development tools and frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with agile development methodologies
