Transform the selling and buying experience of heavy bulky products on Amazon.co.jp. Own the strategic vision and product roadmap for enhancing delivery experiences of large items like furniture and appliances, driving initiatives that significantly impact customer trust and seller success.

About the Role:
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing both the selling and buying experience of heavy bulky products on Amazon.co.jp, with particular focus on delivery experience and fulfillment solutions unique to these items. You'll define the long-term vision and execute complex initiatives to optimize delivery experiences and seller performance. Your work will focus on improving customer satisfaction, increasing seller efficiency, and strengthening the overall heavy bulky product offering on our marketplace.

This high-visibility role requires collaboration with Program, Transportation, Sales, and Tech teams within Amazon, as well as with external carriers. We're seeking an innovative problem-solver who can discover and solve problems that limit great customer experience, and build new features and programs to enhance the heavy bulky delivery experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and own product strategy and roadmap for complex heavy bulky delivery solutions; present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive delivery performance improvements through innovative solutions unique to heavy bulky products; establish tracking mechanisms.
- Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with external carriers to develop and implement delivery experience features that address the distinct challenges of heavy bulky items.
- Partner with engineering to design scalable solutions that go beyond traditional parcel delivery capabilities.
- Own and lead senior leadership business reviews, defining critical metrics and driving visibility of strategic initiatives and business impact.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Ability to write compelling English business documents and to verbally communicate with senior executives
