Responsibilities

• The Technical Standards department consists of an expert team driving international standardization activities, with a primary focus on contributions to 3GPP /O-RAN and other relevant domestic and global standardization bodies.
• Establish and promote open and interoperable telecom standards, contributing to the advancement of the overall telecommunications industry.
• To strengthen technical leadership through active involvement in standardization activities, aiming to realize an open and intelligent future network.
• Contribute to 5G/6G standards in the area of RF/RRM or Core Network (e.g., 3GPP RAN1/2/4 or SA/CT) by developing contributions and change requests
• Contribute to regional standards activity in Japan (e.g. ARIB, TTC)
• Drive standards strategy creation process across organizational structures

Qualification :

• 5 Years Experience of working on 3GPP Technologies LTE or NR (Radio, Core).
• Business Japanese and English skills, both written and verbally, are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• System and standards experience in the technical areas of 4G/5G RF/RRM or Core Network
• A background with an Masters degree or Ph.D., or equivalent
• Fast analytical and abstraction capabilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new conditions and actively manage such changes
• Team worker.
• Willingness to travel abroad.

Language Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English.
