About the project

Are you a creative and self-directed individual, looking to break into marketing? Are you an avid lifelong reader, who seeks out reading content on Tiktok or Youtube? Nightstand is a Toronto-based mobile app focused on helping users read more book. Features include simple, no-nonsense book tracking, powerful tools for cataloguing your library, and AI-powered discovery features. Nightstand is also privacy focused, with no account system or invasive tracking features, and community oriented. We work directly with independent bookstores and literacy foundations in Toronto to share our love of books and promote healthy reading habits in the community.

About the role

We are looking for a part-time intern to develop and execute our social media strategy. The ideal person for the role is a creative individual with a distinct voice. You will be in charge of creating marketing content of all kinds for various social media (and occasionally, real-world) marketing channels. You will play a key role in our overall growth strategy, and work closely with our small team to create content that is tailored to specific platforms and audiences.
